1. China Law Digest (CLD) requires users to register using a provided subscription form Subscription may require subscriber to provide certain personal information, such as subscriber’s name, e-mail address, and street address to gain access.

2. A subscriber can use the "Search CLD" option on the homepage to access information on a topic of choice. A subscriber can search either by "author", "title" or "content", and also can check archive to obtain past issues, month by month, starting in March 2005.

3. A subscriber can either click relevant feature navigation buttons on the left of the homepage to get access to all pieces of each features, then click the piece that the subscriber wants to read, or the subscriber can click "more" button of each features, then click on the piece that the subscriber wants to read. The subscriber can easily jump back to the homepage at any time by clicking on "home" on the top left-hand side of the homepage.
